About PolePerfect Fitness TrainingPolePerfect Fitness Training is run by Catherine Johns. Catherine Johns has been teaching fitness to both groups and individuals of all ages since 1996 and teaches most things from stability ball to belly dancing. She started her Pilates training with the Pilates Institute in 1999 and has completed several additional modules - her favourite being back care. She passed 'original repertoire', which is intermediate and advanced Pilates, in 2005. Core training, alignment and rebalancing are really important to her and she likes to think of the method of pole dancing she teaches as 'Pilates on a pole'. She has delivered workshops to both fitness professionals and physiotherapists, guest lectured on the sports science degree course at Exeter University since 2007 and worked as the membership manager of a major health and fitness club. She is a trained teacher, hypnotherapist, life coach and nlp (neuro linguistic programming) practicioner. She loves helping people improve their lives and runs self esteem and assertiveness workshops. She started PolePerfect Fitness Training in 2005. Pole work improves strength and tone, especially of the abdominals and upper body, cardiovascular fitness, posture and self confidence and at the same time is such fun that you don’t even realise you’ve had a great work out! Catherine trains people to teach pole fitness and one of her other companies, FitnessPerfect, trains people to teach aerobics. Please see the 'Exercise to Music' page. Her newest venture is providing experienced instructors with the opportunity of becoming trainers themselves - see 'Franchise Oppotunity'..
