IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE : Removable poles keep stable by pushing against the floor and ceiling. They cannot be used, therefore, with suspended, false or non-rigid ceilings.

You must understand and appreciate that it is possible for your Perfect Pole to cause some damage.

Your pole can only be used with a firm joist or beam  - not a false, non-rigid or suspended ceiling. Plasterboard will generally flex under pressure. If the screws are pushed out of the plasterboard, just retighten, fill and paint. Artex may also be damaged.

Your Perfect Pole has been tested for use with laminate floors. Because of the way these floors ‘give’, your body weight will push it down further so your pole will need to be tightened more than usual and checked more regularly.

No responsibility can be taken by PolePerfect for cosmetic or structural damage done to property or injury to persons whilst erecting or using your Perfect Pole.

All responsibility is taken by the assembler.

Please do not assemble or use your pole if you do not accept the possibility of damage.

Personal safety

As with any form of exercise you should consult your doctor before embarking on pole work.

Make sure you warm up and mobilise before using your Perfect Pole.

Never wear any creams or lotions that could make you slip on the pole.

Do not wear jewellery, belts etc which could damage the pole or stop your skin touching it properly.

Make sure there is enough room around your pole for you to work.

Make sure someone is with you to help when attempting new moves.

Pole safety

Aways follow these instructions carefully.

Do not use your Perfect Pole on ceiling heights over 8'10” unless you have taken advice from and purchased an extra pole length from PolePerfect.

Make sure that your pole is secured firmly between a solid beam or joist and floor.

Make sure the floor is even and parallel with the ceiling.

A carpet is fine but not free moving rugs or mats.

Your Perfect Pole is in sections, so will ‘give’ slightly. It is not designed to take extreme sideways force so never run or jump at it. Controlling your moves will also give your body a much better workout.

You should never use your Perfect Pole if it flexes at the foot section. If you’d prefer less thread to show, either for cosmetic of safety reasons , an extra pole length can be purchased from PolePerfect.

Check the tightness of foot, with the spanner, before you use your pole each time.

Pole Maintenance

Clean your pole regularly with a spray of water and a clean dry cloth.

Instructions

  • Find a beam or joist in your ceiling.

  • Place foot onto floor directly below the beam / joist you are using.

  • Screw cotton reel onto foot.

  • Fit pole lengths together with 48” pole length at the bottom and then the 21” joining pole length.

  • Fit ceiling piece onto pole.

  • Stand pole vertically on foot.

  • Use spanner to tighten foot and locking nut. Check this before you use the pole each time. Please note that the spanner must be adjusted to exactly the right size or will damage your foot / nut. These are 17mm and 30mm.
